27-07-2015: Hull Dementia Action Alliance invite

The Hull Dementia Action Alliance (DAA) is a group of over 50 organisations, including Hull Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), Hull City Council and Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust, which is committed to working towards making Hull a Dementia Friendly Community.

The DAA is attempting to bring about a society-wide response to dementia by making communities better places to live for people with dementia; this is done in a number of ways such as promoting positive attitudes, enabling people to participate in everyday life and encouraging those who live with dementia to remain as independent as possible.

As part of this we would like to request your support in advertising the following ‘Living Well with Dementia’ meeting, on Thursday 30 July 2015 from 10:30am in the Civic Suite at The Guildhall Hull, to your networks.

If you would like to know more about the event please contact Debbie Burton on either 01482 331631 or Debbie.burton@hullcc.gov.uk
